Mixed Media Birthday Card

Hi everyone hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. I just wanted to share a Birthday card that I had made recently for my nephew. I am new to mixed media, but I have to say I am loving it! So much fun to see so many wonderful layers of ink and textures.

To make this card I used Stamper Anonymous Tim Holtz stamps Bird Crazy, and Phrases 2. Inkadinkaclings stamp set Happy Birthday. Prima Cheese Finnabair Stamp. Gourmet Rubber Stamp Chicken Wire. Uniko Studio stamp set Birthday. Prima 6" Stone Wall stencil. Ranger Texture Paste Transparent Gloss. Tim Holtz ink pads and re-inkers Wilted Violet, Carved Pumpkin, Twisted Citron,  Mustard Seed, and Black Soot. Spectrum Noir Markers.

Masculine Birthday Card

Hi everyone, hope you are having a wonderful day.  I just wanted to pop in with a masculine Birthday Card that I made for one of my co-workers. It was her husbands birthday recently, and she asked me to make a card for him.

To make this card I used a stamp by Flourishes LLC called Mountain View on the front, I really love this stamp. The sentiment on the front is from a stamp set by JustRite called Anchors Away.  On the inside of the card I used a stamp by QuietFire Designs I love you not only for what you are. Dies used were Spellbinders Triple Floral, and JustRite Vintage Label & Banner Die. Paper pad used was Vintage Charm by Ki Memories. Also use distress inks Tea Dye, and Vintage Photo. Memento Ink Rich Cocoa was also used.

Graphic 45 Artisan Style Mini Album

Hi everyone hope you are all having a fabulous day. I just wanted to share with you a mini album that I made for my sisters for Christmas. I made two of these albums and they look pretty much identical.

I bought the tutorial from Kathy King at Paper Phenomenon it is called Life in Retrospect 2-The Perfect 8x8 Mini Album. You can purchase the tutorial from her site here.

To make the albums I used Graphic 45 Artisan Style collection. I used 12 x 12 paper pads, 8 x 8  paper pads, as well as the tags and chipboard pieces. I just love the colors in this collection and I think the albums turned out beautifully.

First Card using Minc

Hi everyone hope you all had a wonderful holiday season. This is my first post for the new year, I have been finding it really difficult to get back into my crafty groove since Christmas holidays, so hopefully this will help me.

Becca Feekan inspired me to buy a Minc machine when I saw her tutorial here on how to use the .Minc to create boarders around my dies, so now I am now a proud owner of a Minc.  I have been playing around with the settings on my printer trying to get the toner right for scanning my dies, it has taken me a bit of playing around but I am getting closer. This is my first creation using the Minc.
