Birdy Card

Hi Everyone, what a gorgeous day it turned out to be here in Halifax.  I was thinking  for awhile that summer was going to elude us, but hopefully this is a sign that warmer days are coming our way.
 
I wanted to share with you a card that I made following the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge at The Sweetest Thing.  This card was made using Kraft paper as will as paper from a pad from Recollections called Love Letters.  The stamp is from Stampotique "Birdy", these little guys are so cute.

Dasiy Birthday Card

Hi there, this is another card that I made this week.  For this card I used the Jumbo Daisy stamp from Stamppendous.  I colored the stamp in using my color pencils and Gamsol.  The leaves where cut using a Martha Stewart punch.  I really love the colors in this card.

Sister Card

Hi Everyone, it has been a little while since my last post, so I decided it was time to get creative once again.  I needed a birthday card for my sister for her upcoming birthday so I decided to use the colors in the Justrite challenge #097, this is what I came up with. 

For this card I used Spellbinders Radiant Rectangles, Labels Twenty, Presto Punch Templates Petal Pack, and Renaissance Hearts.  Sentiment from JustRite Family Garden.  Butterfly from Cherry Lynn Designs Faerie Queen.

Birthday Card

Hi everyone I have been a little busy tonight creating this card for one of my co-workers for her birthday tomorrow.  I really enjoyed making this card and I think it came out really nice.

The background stamp that I used on this card is from JustRite "Scrolled Vine", Happy Birthday stamp is from JustRite as well "Family Garden", the stamp inside the card is from TPC Studio "Playful Expressions".   I also used Spellbinders Shapeabilities "Anemone Flower Topper", and JustRite "Nested Medallion Lables inside the card.

Mother's Day Card

Hi everyone I just wanted to share with you the card I made for my wonderful mother for Mother's Day.  To make this card I used a stamp from Northwood Rubber Stamps "Spring chair with Birds", Mother stamp is from "Family Garden" by JustRite, Butterfly is made from a die by Cherry Lynn "Exotic Butterfly", and flower is made from a die by Memory Box "Fabulous Phlor".

Monster and Kite

Hi Everyone it is a rainy day here in Halifax, so I spent the afternoon crafting with one of my favorite crafty friends.  We had a wonderful and productive afternoon as you can see by my posts.  This is another card that I made this afternoon. 

I made this card using another Monster stamp from Stampotique.  For the background I used Distress stains Peeled Paint and Broken China.  Flowers stamped using Dandy Days from Craft Lounge, using moonlight white ink from Brilliance.  Colored using Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol.  Kite and cloud were cut using Cricut cartridges George and Basic Shapes and Groovy Times.

Very First Blog.....

This is my very first blog - yay for me!!!  Please bear with me while I get use to this new journey that I have convinced myself, along with the encouragement of a few friends, to carry out.  This is really out of my comfort zone, I am usually a very quiet and private person.
