First Card using Minc

Hi everyone hope you all had a wonderful holiday season. This is my first post for the new year, I have been finding it really difficult to get back into my crafty groove since Christmas holidays, so hopefully this will help me.

Becca Feekan inspired me to buy a Minc machine when I saw her tutorial here on how to use the .Minc to create boarders around my dies, so now I am now a proud owner of a Minc.  I have been playing around with the settings on my printer trying to get the toner right for scanning my dies, it has taken me a bit of playing around but I am getting closer. This is my first creation using the Minc.

To make this card I used Spellbinders Dies Labels Thirty-Four, A2 Matting Basics. Penny Black Stamp HeartFelt Thanks. Heidi Swap Minc Machine.

Happy Birthday 2 U!

Hi everyone hope you are all having a great week so far! It's time for another challenge at Loves Rubberstamps! This weeks challenge is to create a project following the theme of "Use Your Favorite Embellishments". This should be an easy challenge,  we all love to use embellishments on our projects.  We hope you are able to join us we would love to see your creations!

This week our sponsor is StitchyBear and they have allowed the design team to use one of their awesome digis on our projects. I have chosen the lovely Ankhi for my card this week. Isn't she just beautiful! Thanks StitchyBear!

JustRite Non-Traditional Christmas Card

Hi everyone I have been away on vacation, which I enjoyed so very much, so I didn't have time to play in my craft corner at all, but on the bright side while I was away I got to go craft shopping. Yeah!!  I didn't get a chance to play along in the last challenge at JustRite, so hurried to try to get a card done so I could enter it into this challenge. The challenge at JustRite this week is to create a project using the theme Non-Traditional Christmas.

To make this card I used JustRite Stamps Merry and Bright, and Festive Poinsettia. Dies used were Spellbinders A2 Matting Basics A, Decorative Labels Twenty-Eight, and Layered Poinsettia. Memory Box die Cabrini Ornament. Design paper used is from My Mind's Eye Merry Little Christmas. To color the ornament I used Copic markers RV21, R83 and B32. Images and sentiment were embossed using Queen's Gold embossing powder from The Artful Stamper.
