Butterfly and Dragonfly Tag

Hi everyone just wanted to share with you a tag I made to enter into the Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge this week.  This weeks challenge is to create a project using mix media such a inks, spray mists, paints, modeling paste, embossing powder, pastels, chalk etc. This is defiantly a challenge for me. I tend to keep to a clean, crisp look but I did play around and this is the finished outcome.

 

 

To make this tag I used Tim Holtz stains Spiced Marmalade, Broken China and Mustard Seed. Distressed Inks used were Tea Dye and Walnut Stain. Butterfly stamp was brought second hand at a local craft store, sentiment is from Tim Holtz stamp set Flights of Fancy. Designer paper used is from We R memory keepers. Tag used is # 8 Manila tag by Ranger. Dies used are Spellbinder Lattice Rectangles, Memory Box Fabulous Phlox, Dee's Distinctively Stylized Floral, Cherry Lynn Designs dies Small Dragonfly, Build a flower Embellishment #2, and Build a Flower #2. Also used a small flower punch by Recollections. To color the butterfly I used Spectrum Noir markers BT4, BT7, CT3, GB5 and OR1.
