Mon Amour

Hi crafty peeps just wanted to share a card that I made for one of my co-workers for his wife's 50th birthday. She really loved it, so did I.

To make this card I used one of my favorite paper collections Graphic 45 Mon Amour, don't you just love Graphic 45 they make creating so much easier. Spellbinder Dies used were Mystical Embrace, and Lace Hearts. Heartfelt Creations stamps Vintage Morning Background, Classic Leaf, and Open Leaf. Heartfelt Creations dies Majestic Blooms, and Classic Leaf. Various colors of Memento ink were used to color the flowers.

Wine gets better with age

Hi everyone hope you are all having a fabulous week so far. It's time for another challenge at Loves Rubberstamps, this weeks challenge is to create a project with a theme of Coffee, Tea or Favorite Beverage. Hope you are able to join us, we would love to see what you have created.

For my creation this week I used wine as my Favorite Beverage. We all love a little wine! I used a stamp from Art Impressions, I just love these girlfriend stamps, they are just so funny! Instead of coloring the chair and her dress I decided to do some paper piecing. I just love the way it turned out. What do you think?

GDT Member for Crafting by Designs

I everyone I was lucky enough to have the Spotlight fall on my one of my creations last month for Crafting by Designs, and they ask me if I wanted to be a Guest Designer for one of their upcoming challenges, so here I am!

This weeks theme is Spring Flowers so I decided to make a Mother's Day card for one of my co-workers. He wanted a extra special card for his wife for Mother's Day, and asked if I could make one. He said she really liked pink so of course that was easy to incorporate into the card.

To make this card I used Quietfire Design stamp A Mother is She. We R Memory Keepers embossing folder Butterfly. Spellbinders Die Imperial Square. Heartfelt Creations stamp and die Arianna Blooms. Distress Ink Spun Sugar.

My parents are up for a visit from Newfoundland and my Mom said she needed a birthday card for my aunt for her birthday, so I am like I'll make one for you. I don't really do many cards that don't have layers, but with this card, once I got it started, I didn't want to do any. I love how these two Penny Black stamps worked together on this card.
