Guest Designer at The Butterfly Challenge

Hi everyone I was lucky enough to win a challenge at The Butterfly Challenge, and Mrs. A has asked me to be a Guest Designer for her challenge this week. So Lucky! I love her challenge because you always have to incorporate a butterfly somewhere on your project. I love using butterflies, so I try to play along with her challenge as much as I can. The theme for the challenge this week is Butterflies and T is for Talisman. Talisman =  a species of charm engraved on metal or stone to which wonderful effects are ascribed. For my project you will notice that I have used a butterfly charm!

Here is my creation for this weeks challenge. I decided to make a Birthday card for one of my Crafty Peeps! I just love my crafty peeps they are the best!  I went with a pop-up book card fold, and I followed a tutorial at Splitcoaststampers you will find the link here.  I used Time to Flourish cardstock by Graphic 45, Spellbinders dies Imperial Square, Labels 42, Classic Squares, a Stampin up stamp was used on the inside of the card, and VersaMagic chalk in Pretty Petunia was used around the edges.

    Easy to see why you were a winner, with this brilliantly done & beautiful card. All those folds look so complex. The colors are lovely, and the wonderful dies - just a prize winner for sure. TFS

    This is one of those rare cards that leave the recipient in a delightfuo quandry: should the card be displayed as one sees it upon receipt; or, should the piece be shown inside-out? Its gorgeous either way. Definitely a gift to treasure for many years to come.
