JustRite Sunflower Card

Hi everyone I am so happy, it feels like Summer has finally arrived. I wanted to share with you today a card that I made for the JustRite Challenge this week.  This weeks challenge is a color inspiration following the pic below.

To make this card I used Spellbinders die Reflective Moments for the shape of my card. This die has been on my wish list since it was released and I finally picked it up this weekend at a local Craft store. So Happy!!! Next I added a layer of yellow card stock for my base and then layered that with Spellbinders Basic Lattice die using paper from G45 Sweet Sentiments Collection. (I felt so bad using this paper for lattice but from all the paper I have I didn't have much purple design paper). Next I layered with Spellbinders Opulent Ovals. Then I stamp two Sunflowers from JustRite Stamp Set Sunflowers Vintage Labels Five, (Soo love this set) and colored them using Spectrum Noir markers using colors CT4, GB5, and OR1 for the leaves I used Copic markers BG75 and YG63. Next I stamp out three hydrangeas from JustRite Stamp set Botanical Medallions & Banners. I colored the two lilac with Spectrum Noir markers PL2, LV2, and LV3. I colored the pink one using Copic markers RV21 and R83. I then fussy cut them and layered them. Then I used sentiments from JustRite's Botanical Medallions & Banners and stamped them onto tags made from Spellbinders Vintage Lace Motifs. Ribbon and Charm are from my stash.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Crafting!

GDT Card for Crafting by Designs

Hi everyone I was asked to be a Guest Design Team Member for the May Anything Goes Challenge at Crafting by Designs, it is such a great honor, and I hope you are able to join us.  One of my Co-Workers asked me to make a  Mother's Day card for her so I decided to make a Z fold Card. This was my first attempt at this fold and I love how it turned out.

To make this card I used Spellbinders Dies Delicate Doilies, and Opulent Ovals, and Cherry Lynn Designs Sunflower die. Stamps used were JustRite's Grand Sentiments, Black-Eyed Susan Vintage Labels Three and Family Garden.  The punch that I used around the top is from ek tools. Patterned paper is from the Blissful Collection by Authentique. I picked this stack of paper up from Winners and I just love all the papers in the stack.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Crafting!

JustRite Challege #117-Sketch

Hi everyone just a quick post to show you the card I made to enter into this weeks challenge at Justrite. This weeks challenge was to follow a sketch.

This is the card I came up with. To make this card I used stamps from Justrite stamp set Grand Sentiments. Spellbinder dies Basic Lattice, and Scallop Borders Two.  Sizzix die Decorative Flourishes, and the leaves are from a Martha Stewart leaf punch.  I don't know if you can notice in the pic or not but on the smaller mat I used a Flower stamp from Grand Sentiments to make the background behind the lattice.  I stamp and embossed the flower numerous times using Martha Stewart embossing powder pink carnation. I then colored the flowers using copics in a couple of shades of pink.  I then went over the whole thing with Distress Ink Worn Lipstick.  Then I applied Cotton Candy Stickles to all of the flowers. I loved how it turned out. Thanks for visiting.
