Loves Rubberstamps Pink and Girly Card

Hi everyone hope you are having a fabulous week so far. We are in for a big blizzard here today in the maritimes, so it should be an interesting day.  My post today is for Loves Rubberstamps Challenge this week, which has a theme of  Pink and Girly. This should be an easy challenge for you all, so I hope you will be able to play along with us.

Our sponsor this week is PPinkydolls, and they were kind enough to allow the design team to choose a digi to use. The digi I decided to use is called Lonely Sisi and I so love her. I colored her using copics and Spectrum Noir Markers. I then used Spellbinders Die Classic Ovals to cut her out, and then used Distress Ink Worn Lipstick on the center.  For the card shape I used Martha Stewarts Punch around the Page Double Arches, I then added a mat using Spellbinders Die Decorative Labels One, although you can't really see it from the angle of the pic. Next I layered with Spellbinders Opulent Ovals, Memory Box die Jasper Leaves and the next layer is my image. To the side I used Memory Box Die Trellis and then I added a bunch of leaves using Poppystamps Leafy Sprig Die.  Next I cut out a bunch of flowers using  Memory Box Fabulous Phlox Die with white cardstock. I used Distress Ink Worn Lipstick to the flowers and then sprayed them with water and wrinkled the edges. I then left them to dry. Once dried I then shaped and layered them, adding pink pearls to the centers. The sentiment I used is from JustRite Black-Eyed Susan Vintage Labels Five Stamp set. I stamp the sentiment on a die cut out from Spellbinders 5X7 Mystical Embrace, I also used Distress Ink Worn Lipstick on the center of this die as well.

Summertime Love

Hi Everyone hope you are all having a great summer so far. I was chosen as May's winner at Crafting Musketeers and was asked if I wanted to be a GDT member for July's challenge, so of course, I said yes. The theme for this challenge is Summertime.

I made the first layer for this card from Spellbinders Radiant Rectangles and Design paper is  American Crafts May Berry. Next layer is made from Spellbinders die Decorative Labels Twenty-Eight with a stamped image from JustRite's Black-Eyed Susan Vintage Labels Five. I colored the image using Spectrum Noir markers CT3, CT2 and Copic Markers YG63, BG75, E23, and E47. I also stamped the image on another piece of cardstock and colored using the same markers. I then fussy cut the flowers and pop them up onto the stamped image.  I then glued two flourishes from Sizzix Decorative Flourishes, and added a Bow to the top left corner. In the bottom right corner I stamped a sentiment from the same JustRite set onto Spellbinders Opulent Ovals and popped it up as well. Next I added some butterflies using Cherry-Lynn die Exotic Butterfly small.

Hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by and Happy Crafting!

GDT Card for Crafting by Designs

Hi everyone I was asked to be a Guest Design Team Member for the May Anything Goes Challenge at Crafting by Designs, it is such a great honor, and I hope you are able to join us.  One of my Co-Workers asked me to make a  Mother's Day card for her so I decided to make a Z fold Card. This was my first attempt at this fold and I love how it turned out.

To make this card I used Spellbinders Dies Delicate Doilies, and Opulent Ovals, and Cherry Lynn Designs Sunflower die. Stamps used were JustRite's Grand Sentiments, Black-Eyed Susan Vintage Labels Three and Family Garden.  The punch that I used around the top is from ek tools. Patterned paper is from the Blissful Collection by Authentique. I picked this stack of paper up from Winners and I just love all the papers in the stack.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Crafting!

Hi Everyone just wanted to share with you a card I made for the JustRite Challenge this week. This weeks challenge is to use Kraft Cardstock on your project, with Mother's Day just around the corner I decided to make a Mother's Day card.

JustRite Challenge #113-In The Background

Hi everyone it's time for another Justrite Challenge.  This weeks challenge is to create a card using a background stamp or any JustRite stamps to create your own custom designer paper. To make my card I used some inspiration from Darsie Bruno's tutorial video Butterfly Vines Cling Background Stamp.

I first stamp my white cardstock using Justrite's background stamp Moroccan Lattice using VersaMark and The Artful Stamper embossing powder Queen's Gold. Then following the tutorial I used Faber Castell Gelatos neutral colors along with a baby wipe to apply the colors over the background stamp.  I then applied my background to my gold cardstock mat.

Next I used Justrite's Black-Eyed Susan stamps and Justrite's die Vintage Lables Five to create my center, I also colored this with the Gelatos. I then applied this to a gold die cut using Justrite's Vintage Labels Three.  I then stamped out two Black-Eyed Susans and colored them using the Gelatos. I then fussy cut these out and pop them up using 3-D dots.
