Summertime Love

Hi Everyone hope you are all having a great summer so far. I was chosen as May's winner at Crafting Musketeers and was asked if I wanted to be a GDT member for July's challenge, so of course, I said yes. The theme for this challenge is Summertime.

I made the first layer for this card from Spellbinders Radiant Rectangles and Design paper is  American Crafts May Berry. Next layer is made from Spellbinders die Decorative Labels Twenty-Eight with a stamped image from JustRite's Black-Eyed Susan Vintage Labels Five. I colored the image using Spectrum Noir markers CT3, CT2 and Copic Markers YG63, BG75, E23, and E47. I also stamped the image on another piece of cardstock and colored using the same markers. I then fussy cut the flowers and pop them up onto the stamped image.  I then glued two flourishes from Sizzix Decorative Flourishes, and added a Bow to the top left corner. In the bottom right corner I stamped a sentiment from the same JustRite set onto Spellbinders Opulent Ovals and popped it up as well. Next I added some butterflies using Cherry-Lynn die Exotic Butterfly small.

Hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by and Happy Crafting!

JustRite Challege #117-Sketch

Hi everyone just a quick post to show you the card I made to enter into this weeks challenge at Justrite. This weeks challenge was to follow a sketch.

This is the card I came up with. To make this card I used stamps from Justrite stamp set Grand Sentiments. Spellbinder dies Basic Lattice, and Scallop Borders Two.  Sizzix die Decorative Flourishes, and the leaves are from a Martha Stewart leaf punch.  I don't know if you can notice in the pic or not but on the smaller mat I used a Flower stamp from Grand Sentiments to make the background behind the lattice.  I stamp and embossed the flower numerous times using Martha Stewart embossing powder pink carnation. I then colored the flowers using copics in a couple of shades of pink.  I then went over the whole thing with Distress Ink Worn Lipstick.  Then I applied Cotton Candy Stickles to all of the flowers. I loved how it turned out. Thanks for visiting.

Luv U Card

Hi Everyone I just wanted to share with you a card I made using one of Sherri Baldy's digital stamps Luv U.  I just recently found this site and she has some really cute images, and she even has freebies, how awesome is that.

To make this card I used Spellbinder Dies Les Papillions Two, Delicate Doilies, Opulent Ovals, and Standard Circles. I also used  JustRite Die Vintage Label and Banner Dies, Memory Box die Fabulous Phlox, and Decorative Flourishes Set by Sizzix.  Sentiment is from JustRite Grand Sentiments.
